Social Work Major

Program Requirements

 

Students entering the four-year program to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in social work must complete a total of 120 credit hours, including 37 hours of core social work courses. Students earn additional credits through elective courses, such as Social Work with Children, Law and Social Work and Male-Female Relationships, designed to prepare them for generalist, entry-level social work practice and graduate-level education.
