Green Zone Training
The Green Zone workshop empowers participants to support military-connected students, staff and faculty and create change on campus. This information is to provide a deeper understanding and appreciation of the veteran and military experience as well as develop tools to better serve these students. There is no cost associated with attending Green Zone.
Registering for Green Zone Training
Mr. Andre Clayton, Director of the Military Resource Center (MRC), is presenting Green Zone workshops to staff and faculty who are interested in learning more about the military, military connected education benefits, and the transition to higher education with a military background.

More About This Training
By attending a Green Zone Training session attendees will:
- Develop an understanding of military terminology and experience
- Learn about the military-connected population at Bowie State University
- Develop an understanding about the transition from the military to campus
- Identify campus resources that can provide support to military-connected students
