Fine Arts Minors


The Department of Fine and Performing Arts offers two Fine Arts minors for undergraduate students. Through these programs, students gain expertise in specific areas of Fine Arts to become adequately prepared for life after graduation.

Minors

A minor in Fine Arts requires completion of 18 studio hours and three semester hours in art history. A total of 21 credit hours is required. Students seeking to minor must meet with a faculty advisor to design a program based on the students' needs and program requirements. See an academic advisor for list of approved courses.

Music Minor

The music minor guides students through the study of music theory, history and performance.

Music Technology Minor

Students will build a foundation in music theory and gain working knowledge of technical aspects of recording and composition.
