Deposit Policy

First-time students must pay non-refundable $325 Housing Reservation Fee (room deposit) to secure housing for the 2025-26 academic year.

Application Dates

  • March 6: Returning residential student renewals
  • March 11: Fall ’25 Incoming freshmen/transfer students
  • March 13: Returning students who are not residential students for Spring ‘25

Requirements

  • Students must be enrolled in 12+ credit hours.
  • Returning students must also have a minimum 2.0 GPA at the time of move-in.
  • Incoming students must also have an admissions acceptance letter from Bowie State University to apply for housing.
  • Housing is not guaranteed at any property.

How to Apply

  1. Login with your BSU username 
  2. Click ‘Applications and Forms’
  3. Complete the application for the appropriate semester​
  4. Parents of students under the age of 17 (at the time of application) must complete the Parental Verification form. The form will be sent via email.
  5. First-time students must pay a non-refundable $325 Housing Reservation Fee (room deposit).

To pay your housing reservation fee (room deposit) login to Bulldog Connection and follow this path:

Financial Account > View Account Details or Make a Payment > Deposits > Select Room Deposit on the Drop-Down Menu > Click Select > Select payment method
