Overview

Undergraduate research at BSU is designed to be a faculty-mentored activity in which undergraduate students engage in active learning in the laboratory, studio, field or library under the supervision of faculty members. In addition to experiencing the excitement that comes from hands-on learning, and the discovery of new knowledge and ideas, the student researcher connects with various disciplinary communities on campus for professional experience and exploration of career choices. A student may publish, perform, exhibit or present their work at professional meetings on or off campus.

The Office of Undergraduate Research supports and collaborates with various offices and programs conducting research related activities at BSU.
