1. National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR 2027) – Grand Rapids, Michigan

NCUR is one of the largest conferences in the United States specifically designed to showcase undergraduate research. Students from all academic disciplines can present research, creative work, posters, oral presentations, and other scholarly projects. The conference is particularly useful for students considering graduate school, research careers, professional programs, or competitive internships because it provides national-level presentation experience and opportunities to meet students and faculty from institutions across the country. How to register:
Students who want to present must first submit an abstract. Accepted students can register beginning January 13, 2027. Students who are attending without presenting must also register.

2. Harvard National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC 2027) – Cambridge, Massachusetts

The National Collegiate Research Conference, hosted at Harvard University, is a multidisciplinary undergraduate research conference bringing together students from universities across the United States and internationally. Students from essentially any field can participate. The conference includes student research presentations, keynote speakers, panels, and opportunities to interact with researchers and other undergraduate scholars. 3. Emerging Researchers National Conference in STEM (ERN 2027) – Atlanta, Georgia

The Emerging Researchers National Conference in STEM is designed for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing STEM and STEMM disciplines. Students can participate in research presentations, attend professional-development workshops, meet representatives from graduate programs, and learn about careers and research opportunities. 4. Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium – Johns Hopkins University

- Abstract Submission Deadline: December 1, 2026
The Richard Macksey National Undergraduate Humanities Research Symposium gives undergraduate students from two- and four-year colleges and universities a national platform to present humanities research. Eligible disciplines include history, English, philosophy, classics, film and media studies, art history, and the history of science, technology, and medicine. 5. University of South Florida Undergraduate Humanities Conference – Tampa, Florida
- Date: January 28–29, 2027

The USF Undergraduate Humanities Conference welcomes undergraduate students from all majors whose projects have a humanities component. Students may submit papers, posters, or creative projects. The conference is particularly useful for students who want their first conference-presentation experience before applying to larger national conferences or graduate programs. 6. Georgia Students in Psychological Science Conference (GSPS 2027) – Kennesaw, Georgia

The Georgia Students in Psychological Science Conference is especially useful for undergraduate students studying psychology, neuroscience, behavioral science, human development, and related disciplines. Students can present their research as posters, five-minute flash talks, or traditional oral presentations. 7. Mid-America Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (MAUPRC 2027) – Crestview Hills, Kentucky

The Mid-America Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference is specifically designed for undergraduate psychology students. Students present original research through oral presentations and posters in a supportive academic environment. It is an especially good option for students who have completed research projects in psychology courses, independent studies, honors programs, or faculty research laboratories but have not previously presented at a professional conference. 8. MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference (MIT URTC 2027) – Cambridge, Massachusetts

The MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference is a research conference for undergraduates and organized by undergraduates. It focuses primarily on engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, computing, networks, automation, sustainability, and other areas of technology. Students can traditionally participate through technical papers, posters, and lightning talks. 9. NASPA Undergraduate Student Conference – National Harbor, Maryland

The NASPA Undergraduate Student Conference is designed for undergraduate students interested in higher education, student affairs, leadership, campus administration, and student development. Students learn about career pathways in higher education, participate in professional-development activities, and network with undergraduate students, faculty, and student-affairs professionals. 10. Student National Medical Association Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC 2027) – Las Vegas, Nevada

The Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC) is particularly valuable for undergraduate pre-medical and pre-health students.
