Embrace Our Diverse Cultures

The Office of Multicultural Programs and Services celebrates all social identities (abilities, age, gender/gender identity, nationality, race, religion, and sexual orientation) by providing ongoing programs and diversity trainings.

Thank you for visiting the homepage for the Office of Multicultural Programs and Services (MPS).

Here, you will see that the MPS is not only a physical space located on the third floor of the BSU Student Center, but is also the center of support all social identities (abilities, ages, ethnicities/nationalities, gender identities/expressions, races, religions, sexual orientations, and social classes) and the convener of diversity education campus-wide.

As you explore our website, I invite you to consider how the MPS’s mission intersects with your interests.  With various skills and expertise, the entire staff shares an authentic desire to assist the BSU community with their identity development and intercultural competence.  We are constantly seeking opportunities to collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and others excited about “creating a campus where all members exercise inclusion and individuals flourish.”

Enjoy your stay on our website, visit often, and connect with us through social media to learn about the ever-growing programs, trainings, workshops, and services that we offer.

Excellence in truth and service,

Keadrick Peters, Ph.D.
