Career Fairs
Our career fairs are large-scale networking events in the fall and spring semesters designed to give you direct access to employers and community partners from a wide variety of industries. Recruiters seek talented candidates for full-time jobs, part-time jobs, internships, co-ops, and more — providing a platform where you can confidently present your education, experience, and skills to expand your professional network.
What to expect:
- Meet recruiters from government agencies, nonprofits, Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and more
- Explore career fields aligned with your academic major and program of study
- Practice your pitch in a professional environment
- Learn about hiring timelines and requirements directly from employers
- Get prepared for upcoming career fairs by scheduling a 1-on-1 appointment or attending a group workshop with us
Employer Information Sessions and Tables
Information sessions and tables allow employers to introduce their organization, share their mission and culture, and discuss available career opportunities. These sessions are ideal for students who want to:
- Learn about specific industries, roles, and career opportunities
- Understand employer expectations and hiring timelines
- Ask questions in an informal, educational setting
Information sessions may be hosted in person or virtually and often precede application deadlines.
Interview Sessions
Interview sessions give qualified candidates the opportunity to interview directly with employers on campus or online. These sessions may include:
- One-on-one interviews
- Panel interviews
- First-round or same-day interviews
- Screening interviews
- Decision interviews
Participation is typically based on employer selection after resume review. Students and alumni are encouraged to prepare by reviewing job descriptions, researching the organization, and practicing interview skills in advance.
Networking Sessions
Networking events provide space for students and alumni to connect with employers, recruiters, and industry professionals in a relaxed, conversational environment. These sessions may include:
- Employer meet-and-greets
- Industry networking nights
- Alumni and employer mixers
Networking sessions help participants build confidence, expand professional networks, and gain insights that may not be shared through job postings alone.
