The Academic Advisement Center (AAC) at Bowie State University is committed to assisting students in identifying and completing their educational goals in a friendly, helpful, and professional environment. The Center’s professional advisors deliver services to all students at the University, but they focus primarily on the advisement, development, and of first and second-year students.
Advising for Winter & Spring 2024
Continuing Students
Virtual Academic advising is available on a drop-in basis. An appointment is not required. To participate in online advising, students may log onto our Virtual Advising Room to receive immediate assistance during normal business hours. We encourage you to contact your Academic Advisor to set up face-to-face advising appointments. Our Academic Advisor Directory will assist with identifying your assigned advisor.
Registering for Classes
Registration for winter/spring classes will begin on Monday, November 13, 2023. Please make sure you are advised and ready to register!
Students having earned 60 or more credits must schedule an academic advising appointment with their department.
