Welcome to the Engage Center

The Engage Center for Experiential Learning & Career Readiness represents a bold, innovative approach to student success at Bowie State University.
The Center serves as a single, coordinated hub, advancing a shared commitment to ensuring every student engages in meaningful experiential learning and graduates career-ready. By aligning programs, services, opportunities, and resources, it creates a cohesive, student-centered experience that empowers learners to intentionally design purposeful careers and lives.
In partnership with faculty, staff, employers, and community partners, the Engage Center connects undergraduate and graduate students to transformational experiential and employment opportunities.

The Engage Center Offices

The Engage Center is restructuring to include the following offices:

    Career Development Center

    This center provides career planning, job search assistance, internships, experiential learning opportunities and career readiness programs that help students and alumni explore careers, gain real-world experience and prepare for professional success.

    Office of Engaged Learning & Student Support

    This office provides programs to enhance students' college experience and resources that center around academic, transition and support services.

    Office of Experiential & Integrative Learning

    This office supports students, faculty, staff and community partners by expanding hands-on, high-impact learning opportunities — including internships, research, service learning, study abroad and other experiential education activities — that prepare students for academic, professional and personal success.
